The Brief

Sentimental is a place to feel at home with a coffee and a sweet treat that takes you back to grandma's house. The brand seeks to rescue Brazilian emotional memories in a modern, cliché-free way. The brief was to create a visual identity that would reflect the intersection of these two universes.

The idea

The inspiration for the brand was a mix of minimalist and modern elements with manual and imperfect features. Illustrations of everyday Brazilian objects and the faces of "sentimental" people make up the brand's universe.

My role

I was responsible for creating the brand's visual identity and graphic materials. At the Sentimental bazaar, I designed the experience and curated the participants in the activities. The event included a yoga class, exhibiting brands, sentimental exchanges and a performance by the duo Medulla. I am currently also a partner in the café.
