An experience for Netflix fans to immerse themselves in the universe of The Electric State, the way only Brazil could do.
Netflix's biggest release of 2025 took place in March, right after Carnival. Our challenge was to combine the dystopian context of the film The Electric State with Brazil's most iconic moment, and create an immersive experience for the film's launch. In addition to involving fans of Millie Bobby Brown and the Russo Brothers, and putting them on the hightlight, we were also challenged to create and produce a press event during the party.
In a dystopian Brazil, where people have lost connection with each other and robots have taken over society, Carnival would become a symbol of humanity. Here, there would still be celebration and The Electric State would become the Trio Electric State. This was the concept that guided the entire creation of the experience.
My role was to lead the creation of the project and deliver all the details of the experience. Together with a team of strategic planners, designers, set designers and producers, we selected the venue, planned, created and produces interactions, photo opportunities, set design, food, artistic attractions, screen animations, red carpet, guests, VIP area and swags.
